Participatory Relationships Matter: Doctoral Students Traversing the Academy

In this article, we take our thoughts for a walk through three different doctoral journeys and experiences with the Post Philosophies Doing of Inquiry Webinar Series (2020–2021). The webinars presented an example Slow scholarship, enabling us to think deeply differently from others develop new ideas further. online connections offered opportunities extending learning spaces beyond traditional bounded structures. Here explore rich gained each other’s research, learning, teaching in higher education settings ways which these intersected during global COVID-19 pandemic. We contend that generosity senior academics leadership positions who embraced networks communication, connected students experts, learned their communal egalitarian has enormous potential support as they traverse often demanding challenging journeys.
